I hesitate to call myself a writer because I cringe at every word I have ever written. It's the type of feeling you get after waking up from a night of heavy drinking, with your cortisol levels high as the anxiousness of what you've done or said. 6to6 is cope that the hangover will pass. The process is simple:
The job of a consultant is to sell what they know, whether they know it or not. I am what is considered a strategically incompetent consultant. This is not what clients want to hear, especially when working remotely, but AI models will eventually replace my role. I hope it happens, so I can spend my days travelling more and writing about it.
All of us go home each evening, and at some moment in time, with whatever degree of consciousness, we go back over all the signs, seeking patterns that aids in the continuity of our discourse. This can happen when our adolescence is lost and the adulthood we once claimed to crave begins to turn into a real and narrowing system of responsibilities that make us feel constrained.
Yet we cannot become aware or understand quickly enough to grasp the risks of being “well-adjusted.” We cannot reprogram our minds to escape the doubts, traumas, and fears that hinder our desires. Not only that, our brain sits in a body that is gradually aging. Although we strive to slow this clock, our bodies are biologically programmed to destroy the information pattern that makes us.
Right now, I'm thinking about AI systems and media. Vertical video are the trending internet medium for this generation. The competition for attention on the internet is worse that a club in toronto.
Protocols are a set of rules and instructions for handling and exchanging information. For example, my protocol for bar-heists:
I used to be the type of software developer who would find solutions on stack overflow. As a strategically incompetent dev, I cannot leetcode. I do not memorize syntax. I'm considered a data architect, but I have never used excel once in my career. I also do not know SQL past select, from, and where. Despite all this, I've learned enough to build a private server for 6to6 to be hosted on. Not only that, this server stores my files, photos, and videos, also syned to the calendar and contacts on my phone. This server and website is designed to outlive me. Not that it matters, but it makes me chuckle to think that my grandkids will read what I've written here someday.
Off the top of my head, within the past two decades of my life, the countries I've visited are Botswana, India, Zimbabwe, Namibia, South Africa, UK, US, Japan, Vietnam, Korea, Colombia, and I live in Canada. I'm headed to Malaysia/Singapore for the month of September 2025, then Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, and India between October and November.
